Passport
Destinations outside the European Union require the use of passports, and in some cases even seen. The passport must have a validity of at least 6 months from the date of commencement of the trip.
Children
Minor children, when not accompanied by their parents, or only in the company of one of them, must carry authorization to leave the country, signed and recognized in the notary. All children from birth should be holders of Identity Card / Citizen Card or passport, depending on the destination; personal ballots or birth certificates are not valid as identification.
Vaccines
For certain countries in Africa, South America and the East vaccines are required, so whenever you choose one of these destinations for your vacation, you should consult the traveler at least 1 month before departure.
Baggage
When traveling by plane, always carry a carry-on bag in the cabin of the plane with a change of clothes for the first impressions, in case there is a loss of luggage. It is not advisable to carry valuables, or drinks inside bilges. In the event of a loss of luggage, do not leave the airport without first complaining to the "lost and found" counter; the lack of this procedure may lead to the complete disappearance of the same. If traveling with family, prepare each suitcase with mixed clothing. In this way, in case of loss of one of the suitcases, no member of the family will ever be undressed.
Insurance
Whenever you take care insurance on the road, before going to a hospital or another, call the insurance number that will inform you of the measures to be taken, and never forget to have proof of everything.
Claims
If you are not satisfied with any service at your vacation destination, you must first complain directly on the spot and then contact your travel agent.
European Health Card
When traveling outside the country, and within the European Union, be accompanied by a European health card that allows you to be treated in public hospital units as if you were in your own country. You must apply to Social Security; the same lasts for 3 years.
Check in
Whenever you travel by plane, you must appear at the check-in counter within the time set by your travel agent (normally 2 hours before your flight), and you will be subject, if you do not appear in advance, to miss your trip.
Reservations
Your holiday travel bookings may be subject to price changes until at least 20 days before your departure. Given the oscillation in the price of oil, these changes have been increasingly frequent.
Medication
When traveling to tropical or semi-tropical destinations, take a basic anti-diarrheal medication, pain medication (ben-u-rum or aspirin), sunscreens, big-hat, insect repellent. Never consume tap water, even if it is for brushing teeth; always use bottled water, and watch out for raw foods such as salads and sauces.
In circuit trips
It is advisable to take clothes and, especially, comfortable shoes; not carry large amounts of money or valuables.
